Railroad Construction Co. of South Jersey, Inc. is the oldest of the Railroad Group companies. It was formed in 1967 and was incorporated in 1969. Under the direction of James J. Daloisio, RCCSJ has grown from a small industrial railroad contractor to a full service railroad contractor that provides track services to transit agencies, ports, commercial and industrial rail owners, and shortline, regional and Class 1 railroads.
Railroad Construction Co. of South Jersey owns a large fleet of modern railroad and construction equipment including multiple Harsco Mark I, II, III and IV tampers, TRIPP tie exchangers, Pettibones, various sized excavators and loaders, ballast regulators, spikers, tie cranes,and much, much more.
The company has a well trained and very experienced staff that has successfully completed hundreds of track projects in the greater Philadelphia area. In recent years we have successfully completed track projects for:
- Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA)
- Salem County New Jersey
- South Jersey Port Corp.
- Philadelphia Regional Port
- Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA)
